Continuing Education for Yoga Teachers

Spring 2025 Continuing Education Workshops COMING SOON!

BREAKING DOWN THE VINYASA
March 2025

Inverting from the Ground Up
TBD

Join us for this experiential workshop for yogis AND yoga teachers! Whether you want to learn to invert or arm balance and don’t know how OR you want to take your skills further, this will be a great workshop to grow your skills.

We'll go through principles of foundation, center of gravity, core and lots of skills/drills that seem like they have nothing to do right away with actually getting off the ground… but then voila… help you FLY!

We'll look at props, ways to prep and all the best practices for getting your or your students’ feet off the mat. PLUS we’ll learn all about what you can/cannot do when helping students explore inversions.

The Art of Adjustments + Assists

Help your students to deepen and refine their practice through verbal and physical adjustments and assists. Learn how to engage in this practice with intention, safety and to create MORE in the physical body on the mat. We’ll explore many different approaches across a deep variety of poses, looking at the why, how and when of adjustments and assists.

Prop it Up: Using Props to Expand your Practice

This workshop seeks to take the stigma out of prop use in class. Many students feel props are a signal they can't do "enough" of the pose... and thus hesitate to use props.

In reality, props can deepen our experience of yoga in SO many ways. From creating more work and activation, to allowing length and space, even helping us find more sensation or support in a pose.

Come explore, play and learn... then take this back to your classes!

Taking Your Teaching Further ~ Coming 2026

Our advanced teacher training (for current RYT 200 level teachers) will be offered in module format so you can craft your own program. This training is meant to deepen your knowledge of teaching, sequencing, anatomy + the physicality of the practice - and also allow for exploration of topics typically not touched upon during your RYT 200 training.
